As Founder and CEO of Powered by Kristyn Folago, I play an integral role in the growth of our organization. Specializing in Aesthetic Design, Strategic Management, and Brand visibility. In 2012, I received my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the Jennings A. Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). During my time there, my love for Marketing grew when I became President of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a Professional Marketing and Sales Fraternity for students and industry professionals.
After graduating college, I had dreams of working for a Fortune 500 company, hoping that one day I would become this stylish and insanely creative Marketing Director. I was constantly being rejected with emails saying, “Thank you for your interest. We have decided to move forward with other candidates who more closely meet our qualifications.” Just like millions of other college graduates; I needed 10 years of experience for an entry level position.
I started Powered by KF because I wanted to help businesses grow. Offering Web Design, Ad Management, and Email Campaigns for start-ups such as The MakeUp Bullet, and Olivia Marié Beauty. This experience later helped me land roles within Property Management companies across the U.S. managing their social media accounts and creating marketing material. The key to gaining experience to run a successful business is to just start. No matter how many doors close; KEEP CREATING!
